2013 MWSA Anthology: Call for Entries

The MWSA is pleased to begin work on our 4th annual anthology. Each year the board selects a theme, the membership selects cover art, and we publish a book of articles, short stories, essays, illustrations, and photographs to showcase the amazing members of the Military Writers Society of America. In addition to member essays, the book contains the MWSA review and jacket design of each book nominated for an award in the current award cycle.

Dayton Air Force Museum Tour

We had planned a tour this year of the museum and a behind the scenes look at the restoration portion of the museum normally not open to visitors. We have to cancel that based on budget cuts they have experienced.

Their fiscal year ends just after we leave so tours have been eliminated. The behind the scenes tour based on comments from the general in charge are best not promised at this time. There is an extremely remote chance that tour could take place but zero promises.
