In beta right now is a promising app to help authors find their audiences without the hassles of booking and publicizing your own event. Togather.com is a new way to fansource your book events. http://Togather.com My client, Andrew Kessler, author of Martian Summer (2012 paperback Pegasus; hardcover 2011) invented this way of preventing those horrible times when you show up for an event and only your second cousin attends. This is for any author of a current book in print. It is free to authors.
