MWSA Review
The Patriot Element is a mystery thriller which is the second book in David Michaelson’s trilogy of the twin brothers raised in separate families only to be reunited and paired to go underground in pursuit of bad guys.
Using aliases in Cincinnati Ohio, the Nutt brothers pursue a conniving police lieutenant who is dealing drugs and is trying to muscle the local Russian drug cartel in doing illegal drug operations. Enter the Nutt brothers who not only befriend the Russian mob boss but pursue the crooked cop and his operations across the Ohio River in northern Kentucky.
In doing so the Nutt brothers along with several other associates form the investigative business named the Patriot Element. After solving the main drug cartel case in Cincinnati, the Patriot Element moves their operations to San Diego and contracts a sting operation in Peru to trap two fellow cousins stealing from gold mining operations.
The use of their Navy Seals operations backgrounds lends expertise in solving these underground operations. Covert planning and operations are the modus operandi in this book of mystery and intrigue.
