Marketing Monday: Using Twitter for Book Promotion

Do you use Twitter to promote your books?  If so, what kinds of tweets do you use?

More importantly, do you support other MWSA members by retweeting their tweets?

I belong to a Facebook group whose members use #stooshpr in tweets that we want retweeted by other members.  (We do a search of #stooshpr to find the tweets to be retweeted.)

We could consider doing the same thing for MWSA using #mwsa.  My only word of caution is that we need to carefully consider which tweets we would use this on and NOT use it for every tweet.

(I personally do at most one tweet a day with #stooshpr -- usually for a new blog post link.)

Other ideas of how we can support each other on Twitter?
