Do you blog with the goal of promoting your book(s)?  If so, do you blog only on this site?  Or on your own site?  Or do you frequently guest blog?

If you do blog, do you think this helps sell your books, or only makes people aware of you as an author? 

In my case, I started out blogging only in connection with my company (www.MillerMosaicLLC.com) and then realized that I needed an author blog (www.PhyllisZimblerMiller.com)

What blogging tips for promoting your books can you share here with others?
