2014 Conference update: MWSA IS NOW A 501 (3) (c)!

Had a great day yesterday! Lots of activity--topped off by the Buckaroo auction! To those who have been to the conference in the past, that's one of the two big highlights (the other being the awards ceremony, of course) and it was an uproarious hoot! We had a bunch of great prizes, including books, editorial and cover design services, 5 mystery boxes that winners opened to find they'd won Kindles, iPads, and Amazon gift cards, and more!

Biggest news for MWSA is that we're now officially a 501 (3) (c)! This opens an exciting new chapter for the organization and I'll be sending out updates on what it means for everyone in the next few weeks.
