Working together, we can all win!
There are many ways to get more eyes to our books. We are trying to build as many of them as possible into this site. First, note that you can link your twitter profile feed to your MWSA Website profile. Here's a link to mine, for example. http://www.mwsadispatches.com/user/21/tweets Note that I have two different twitter streams combined. How handy is that?
Why would you do add your twitter steam to your profile, you ask? Well, more eyes...our own eyes and those who visit this site who might not follow twitter normally.
However, one of the important things about any kind of social networking is to have a strategy. As an organization, I try to tweet announcements, awards, articles, etc. And I retweet with several existing MWSA members who also have twitter accounts. The goal being to get that information out there in front of as many eyes as possible.
Howevere, with the ability to contact each other through the "Contact" button on your profiles or to discuss issues on the forums, you could work out smaller more personal strategies with members who aim at similar audiences. Tweeting and retweeting for each other ...again, maximizing the number of eyes who might see you.
It's worth a try. :)
