Conference 2012 - Issues

Hi everyone,

I wanted to use this forum to share where we are with conference 2012 in terms of time and place and potential speakers or panels. I'd also like to use this forum to get your ideas.

First, MWSA Conference and Awards Banquet 2012 will be in Dayton, OH - September 27 - September 30.

We have decided to move the Buckaroo Auction from Sunday morning to Friday evening, immediately following Open Mic - and with a cash bar.

We have also decided to include lunch for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - in your conference fees.

The hotel we are working with includes a free breakfast with your room.

Representatives of Veterans Family Network will have a sponsor table and will speak.

Sandra Beck of Military Mom Talk Radio will speak and appear as part of a panel.

We will repeat a panel discussion on how we evaluate books for awards.
