A US terrorist assault team on a mission in 2009 is blasted 2000 years into the past.  This puts them squarely into the place and time of one of the world’s major, history-changing battles.  The future and freedom of all European people is at stake as Germanic tribes fight the might of Caesar Augustus' ancient Roman Empire.  A well researched and imaginative fiction in which the past and present are skillfully meshed.

Although the character development of members of the TAT are more detailed and believable than the people of ancient Germania, “Terror in Teutoburg Forest” offers an engaging look at imagined history.

Attitude and language of TAT members rings true as do the descriptions of tactics and battle scenes. There are the requisite heroes and villains as well as an imaginative alternative interpretation of a possible “future” changing “past”. An entertaining, quick read.
