MWSA Review
Detachment DELTA is an action/adventure paperback book published by the Berkley Group. The hero character is defined by action sidebars leading up to the mission -- the extermination of a sadistic terrorist within the confines of Iran.
There are enough technical specifications provided to keep the 'Techno' happy, but the most interesting aspect of the story is the Lakota (Sioux) view of the demise of George Armstrong Custer. The author does a splendid job of weaving this accounting into the character building of his hero.
Detachment DELTA is a quick read with plenty of action to keep the reader interested to the very end. The book is recommended for leisure reading.
