A Daunting Task

Several weeks ago, I was asked to write a 350-750 word article for the CEO Magazine on leadership for entrepreneurs and CEOs. Having been a Marine for over thirty-five years, mentored by some of the Corps's legendary leaders, and having led some of America's finest young men and women, can you even begin to imagine containing myself to 750 words? What Snooki Can Teach Us about Writing

Why do people like "Snooki" get to the top of the best seller list? The answer may surprise you

I am sure than many of you lit your manuscript on fire and threatened to give up writing after looking at the New York Times best seller list around March 2011. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her book, A Shore Thing, made the number 24 spot on the New York Times best seller list.  Believe it or not she has another book out titled Gorilla Beach, which, despite the several one star reviews on Amazon, still sold around 9,000 copies in its first four weeks.

MWSA Members Join Forces for Speakers Bureau

MWSA members Linda Maloney and I are two of the core members of the first National Women Veterans Speakers Bureau. Interestingly, we reconnected last year due to MWSA, as both of our books were finalists. I thought I would post this here because it is another example how MWSA brings people together for positive purposes.
