A few days ago, I heard from Kathleen Foley, wife of a Marine Corps hard-charger--and an exceptional author in her own right. Katie had just finished reading 'Red Sky at Morning', and wrote to let me know that she had posted a review on her website.Katie is the author of 'Dog Tags', and also 'The Target', two books in The Faith in Uniform Series, and both are enjoying critical acclaim and enthusiasm from her readers.

First off, I need to say Happy Birthday to all my Air Force wingmen!

Secondly, this morning I was interviewed about the Michael Neill Series by my favorite radio station, 970WFLA. Jack Harris, Corey Dylan and Ted Webb were on hand for a short conversation about 'Red Sky at Morning' and 'Tempest of Fire'. 

I learned yesterday that 'Tempest of Fire' was nominated by thechristianmanifesto.com for their 2013 Lime Award for Excellence in Fiction. Last year, 'Red Sky at Morning' received the same nomination--and was the only debut novel in its category. I'm hopeful that this will be the year for 'Tempest'!

Work proceeds on the third book in the series; more on that later.
