Looking for MWSA members in the New Orleans area

To any MWSA members who happen to reside in the New Orleans area:

John Penny, book reviewer for The Aviator, the monthly publication of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association, is looking for writers and publishers who reside in or around New Orleans in order to include them in a presentation he is putting on re: publishing for the VHPA's upcoming convention in New Orleans. We all have feelings, wishes and desires, to some expression comes easy while to others an endless struggle or a fight they refuse to join for a myriad of reasons. I have tried here on these pages to express not just my feelings but my perceptions of others feelings. There is nothing more complex than love, look for a definitive definition and surely your search would take years. My inspirations come from many directions, experiences, words overheard, a scene that unfolds before my eyes, a movie, a song. All directed in an endless search to express love and all that it encompasses. I hope my writing draws you in and it becomes part of you, join me in the journey. Enter my book, I hope you enjoy it.

ARTICLE I    Name

 This organization is known as the Military Writers Society of America, and is sometimes referred to herein and elsewhere as MWSA

ARTICLE II    Board of Directors

The Board of Directors shall consist of nine members (President is the Chairman, Past-President serves one term as Board Member, the Founder as a Permanent Board Member and six elected members).

Although our members have opinions regarding current events, our intent is to support the United States military rather than denounce it. We have no illusion that the performance of our military or our nation's leaders are flawless, but we feel strongly that there are more than enough existing venues for criticizing them. We do not wish to become another one. Consequently, we make efforts to avoid publishing material that we find to be primarily critical in nature. Please submit requests for review to our Lead Reviewer, jim greenwald by using the "Submit Book for Review" heading on the right hand side of the menu.
