The Webmaster's Corner - Updates Behind the Scenes

I realize there are some features people would like and some changes we will try to implement this summer. However, our primary goal has been to test the site and keep it running for several months before "tinkering" too much with the complex programming. I know some of you have great ideas and I do hope to add new features as time permits.

There have been updates happening to the MWSA websites every few weeks without anyone noticing, which is a good sign. The Drupal "core" and various "modules" are updated regularly, often to improve security and performance. Updating the site is delicate, since one mistake can bring things to a halt (or worse). To make this as invisible as possible, I do most updates after midnight on Sunday/Monday nights.

Admittedly, I worry every time I add a little update here or there. If you do experience any problems, let us know.
