Request for Contributors with a Military Background

Jen Upshaw Swartz, editor of Military1 recently contacted me requesting writers with a military background who could write about a variety of topics. Here's a summary:

Military1 is the newest online resource for service members to find critical resources to assist them in their daily lives. We feature breaking news and analysis, career support, education advice, veteran benefits and resources, product research and more. Having launched in November 2012, Military1 now has 150,000 members, 30,000 Facebook fans and generates more than 100,000 monthly unique visitors.

We are looking for writers who can contribute original articles to help us build out our library of exclusive military content, specifically in the key areas of product reviews, career progression, financial advice, family, procurement and deployment. Articles will be 500 – 800 words and authors will receive $100 per piece. In addition, authors will receive columnist bios on Military1.com to assist personal branding, as well as promotion of their content through M1 channels, such as our eNewsletter, our social channels and featured on our site as exclusive content.
